Neighbourhood description
Getting there
preferrable, so check the tide times.
After crossing over the Noosa River on the Noosa Tewantin ferry at the end of Moorindal St, follow Maximillian Rd, which turns into Beach Rd as you pass the Noosa North Shore Retreat. Keep following the road for about 5 kms as it meanders through the bushland until you reach the Noosa North Shore Caravan Park. There is room to pull over to let your tyres down if needed. Then just past there is the 3rd cutting, which has the permit camera and where you cross over onto the sand. Drive along the beach for approximately 6kms and when you see the Norfolk Pines, that’s where the village entrance is. As you drive into the village, you get to a T junction (which is Mackerel St) turn right and follow the street north up to the end. Teewah Tranquility is on the left side corner, with the entrance on Tailor St. A beach permit MUST be obtained through QPWS and travelling at low tide is recommended. There is NO inland road, despite what it says on G-Maps.

On departure, all rubbish must be taken with you, as there is no council collection in the village. A fee of $50 will be charged if any is left. The refuse centre at 561 Eumundi Noosa Rd, Doonan is an option to drop off your rubbish on the way home. Open 7am-5pm daily.

The whole house is supplied with fresh, filtered rain water, with additional under-sink filters in each kitchen for drinking water, so there’s no need to bring bottled water.
Getting to Teewah – you must have a 4WD/AWD

Noosa Ferries: To get to Teewah, you must cross with the ferry at the end of Moorindal St.
Opening hours are 5:30am-10-30pm Sunday-Thursday and 5:30am-12:30am Friday/Saturday.
